THE CHALLENGE
The Music industry is moving from a materialistic to a post materialistic world where people are more willing to pay for an experience than tangible products. The number of people attending music concerts has nearly doubled in the last three years which has resulted in the increase in the number of music concerts held. The audience has evolved over the years and so have their needs but the way they experience music concerts has remained stagnant. The aim of this project was to come up with a solution or a service that makes the experience more seamless, engaging and immersive.
THE SOLUTION
The team used lean start up techniques to conceptualize, prototype and test ideas and solutions. The final solution presented consisted of a system of solutions which included an improved ticketing platform, an AR powered wayfinding concept, an integrated food and beverage ordering solution as well as an optional 'Welcome Box' which helps to bind all the ideas together to create one holistic solution that enhances the experience of attending a live music concert.
