THE CHALLENGE
Tetra Paks are usually made up of multiple layers of different material like paper, aluminum and polyethelene, some of which are recyclable. But, a vast majority of the Tetra Pak packaging ends up being dumped into landfills, where they decompose for years, and adversely affect the environment. The damage can be minimized, if not eliminated by proper recycling methods. The aim was to propose a solution that minimizes the damage caused to the environment.
THE SOLUTION
The team came up with a re-designed packaging concept for consumable liquids that will enable users to separate these layers easily and encourage recycling.
