I'm a T-shaped designer and strategist specializing in using human-centered design in cross-functional environments to solve complex problems. I'm driven by my passion for uncovering latent human needs and developing actionable insights that inform the creation of holistic solutions that are not only desirable for humans, but also viable and feasible for the business.
From my early beginnings as an transportation designer, I have always worked through problems by starting with understanding customer needs, and combining it with a balance of intuitive and analytical thinking. The skills and experience I have gained in the field of UX Design and Research, Service Design, and Design Strategy enable me to draw connections quickly and make sense of complex situations effectively.
In December 2018, I received a Master in Integrated Innovation for Products and Services from Carnegie Mellon University, a cross-disciplinary degree where I learned to tackle real-world problems at the intersection of Design, Technology, and Business. I have had the opportunity to work on several projects where I have worked in and led cross-functional teams in different stages of the design and development process, starting from User Research, Problem Definition, and taking them through Idea Generation, Prototyping, and User Testing.
I'm currently a Lead Experience Designer at Highmark Health where I create innovative services and tools to enhance clinician and patient experience.
